Rainy Day 1: SWOT Analysis

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) NLT

We all have our share of weaknesses and we all have our share of strengths.  In a marriage, there are both and sometimes one outweighs the other. For instance, sometimes in a school or college classroom setting, assignments are given to the students that require them to do a SWOT analysis such as in a business plan. This analysis is a process that identifies the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats for a business plan to be successful.  Why not do a SWOT analysis of your marriage? Take the time to talk about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that may be affecting the marriage. Ask God to lead you in the directions should take after your analysis. It will make marriage much stronger.
