Rainy Day 6: Battery Life

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.   (John 4:14) KJV

Yes, that is correct, a battery can get thirsty.  The lack of water will reduce the batteries power and possibly shorten the battery's life over time.  The newer model cars are vented to the atmosphere and water evaporates. Therefore, water does not have to be poured in like it was in years past. The heat and shaking around in the engine compartment of a car makes the water evaporate faster.  Sometimes your marriage needs a little watering. It can dry-out from being over-heated and the steam is evaporated into thin air as if nothing was ever there. A marriage has to be fed spiritually as well as nutritionally. We are nourished through reading the Word of God.   Jesus is that living water that never leaves you thirsty. Set a day aside some time to study the Word of God together along with your children. It is a vital tool in the life of a marriage.
